Electrical Maintenance Job Description

Summary:

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose Games and Lazer Tag systems including but not limited to computers, peripherals, network, signage, and arenas.
  • Rebuilds all major Game sub‐assemblies (Arcade, Lazer Tag, etc).
  • Organizes, maintains, and inventories all test equipment and major tools.
  • Restocks necessary game supplies.
  • Communicates with supervisor. Promptly informs of all problems or unusual matters of significance. Takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action.
  • Ensures the setup, maintenance and repair of all amusement equipment as directed by supervisor or manager.
  • Assists in maintaining and the tracking of game repair and preventative maintenance. Also assists in maintaining the inventory and placing orders for needed parts.
  • Reviews the cleanliness and organization of the Arcade games.
  • Completes all repair task lists and assigned duties.
  • Efficiently and safely performs daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly game maintenance.
  • Completes any needed component level board repairs to the limits of repair or test equipment available.
  • Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the Lazer Tag vesting room and arena.
  • Finds and suggests improvements for the Game Systems at Fiesta Village Family Fun Park including but not limited to hardware, software, system updates and infrastructure.
  • Ensures that the Games and Lazer Tag systems are all operating after a power outage.
    Other:
  • Must be over 18
  • Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • One years of Game Technician or similar experience required. Knowledgeable in low voltage electrical component trouble shooting (AC/DC components).
  • Skills including soldering, using small hand tools, and power tools required.
  • Familiarity with multi meters required.
  • Must be able to read and write handwritten notes.
  • Must provide own tools and some equipment related to mechanical trades.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Must possess the physical capabilities necessary to perform the job duties
  • Must be able to work in a noisy fast paced environment with distracting conditions.
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions and elements including the direct sun with no shade, cold, rain, dust, and all other outdoor weather elements
  • Must be able to work in loud enviornments
  • Must be able to stand, kneel, walk, stoop, and bend for long period of time.
  • Must be able to work on ladders and lifts.
  • Must be able to work at heights in excess of 50 feet.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs
    As an Electrical Maintenance Team Member you are a representative of Fiesta Village Family Fun Park and must maintain a high standard of:
  • Safety– You are operating heavy equipment, attention to detail is a must!
  • Guest Service- Create legendary experiences & memories for our guests
  • Cleanliness- Ride area, walkways, trash cans, restrooms, etc. – make it sparkle!
  • Sense of Urgency – When assisting any guests or team members.
    Primary responsibility;

    This job typically requires a combination of walking and standing for extended periods of time. Good communication skills are necessary as well as enjoyment of working outdoors alongside others. Work takes placed outdoors and indoors and it can be noisy, crowded and hot.

  • Schedule – We expect you to work the days you are scheduled and to be on time. Tardiness and absenteeism are not acceptable. Due to the nature of our business, you will be required to work evenings, weekends, summer months and holidays.
  • Appearance – All Crew Members are expected to wear the required uniform for the area assigned. No other dress is acceptable. Personal hygiene is very important because of the close contact with our guests.
  • Drugs / Alcohol – Every Crew Member has daily contact with our guests. Coming to work under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or use of drugs, alcohol or tobacco in any manner while on duty is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate termination.
